Together through This Day

My dear son,

Practice the love Jesus taught today. The example of your life matters alongside the words you share. As you learn and follow, hold close his promise to remain with you always.

Do not measure my nearness only by the outcomes of your plans. You can depend on your Father while doing ordinary work and treating people with respect. Share today's life with me through questions and thanks.

Choose one teaching you can actually follow today. Speak honestly to someone, or offer a kindness that is needed. Trust Jesus' promise to remain with his followers to the end of the age, and live faithfully where you are.
