A Small Stone Laid Today
My dear son,
Take something you hear in my word and put it into practice today. Let it become more than a good idea held in your mind. Like building a house on rock, you are laying a firm foundation for your life.
When wind and rain strike, a well-founded house can stand. Honesty and love practiced on ordinary days can also steady you when choices become difficult. Treasure that foundation even when little of it can be seen.
Choose a truthful answer or a kind action within your reach today. You need not finish a great house all at once. Your Father delights in the daily life you build by following his teaching.
