Eyes That Notice Others

My dear son,

When you look at people today, notice more than how much power they have. I am the Father who hears the oppressed and cares for the hungry. Those with no one to rely on are precious in my sight.

Show warmth to someone who has come to an unfamiliar place or been left alone. Ask what is needed, and offer the help you can. Listening to that person's words can be a beginning.

I delight in lifting up those who are brought low and establishing justice. Honor the dignity of the people you meet today. May the hands that have received your Father's care strengthen a neighbor's life as well.

With all my love,
Your Father
