Hope in the Quiet
My dear son,
Spend a quiet moment with me this morning. You do not need to say anything or accomplish anything. I am here, a rock where your heart can rest. Breathe and let your thoughts settle before me.
I hope your confidence will reach beyond other people's opinions and today's results. Those things can change, but the Father who saves you remains the same. Wait for me, and let your heart find its center again.
A quiet moment has not taken away from today's work. It has helped you remember where your trust belongs before you begin. Depend on me as your rock and stronghold, and live the day before you with steadiness.
