A Prayer of Entrusting

If responsibilities rest on your shoulders today, tell your Father about them. Share the people and tasks in your care with me. Even as you care for others, you are allowed to receive care yourself.

You do not have to hold everything together through your own strength. Carry out your work faithfully, and entrust burdens beyond your capacity to me. Asking for needed help does not mean you take your responsibilities lightly.

I do not abandon you when you lean on me. Attend calmly to the part within your hands today, and place what reaches beyond them in my care. Trust the love with which your Father sustains you.
