Your Words and Your Heart
My dear son,
Place today's words and inward thoughts before me. Along with choosing words that sound kind, let the heart behind them be warm and honest.
If you have an opportunity to encourage someone, take it. When facts need to be spoken, tell the truth without belittling a person. Remember that your words will settle in someone's heart, and treat that heart with care.
You do not have to find perfect words to deserve love. I want you to know the joy of giving life to others through both your heart and your speech. Begin today by opening your thoughts to your Father, your rock and Redeemer.
With all my love,
Your Father
