Remembering the Word in Everyday Places
My dear son,
I would love for my words to have a warm place along the paths you travel every day. I told Israel to bind them on hand and forehead and write them on doorposts so they would remember me in ordinary life.
You may write a passage that has stayed with you somewhere close by. When you see it, let its meaning reach your words and actions. The hours you spend coming and going, working and resting, are all precious to me.
Tell me what a word you read today stirred in your heart. You need not reserve meeting me for special days. Your Father wants to share your ordinary days as well. Entrust tomorrow to me, and rest comfortably.
With all my love,
Your Father

A short reflection
