The God Who Establishes You in Christ

My dear son,

I have not left you to establish yourself in Christ all alone. I have made you my own and given you the Holy Spirit. Our relationship is not renegotiated each day according to how well you have performed.

Learn my words and live with the confidence that you are my child. Even while you are correcting what needs attention, you remain someone I love and care for. Receive the truth that you have a Father who builds you up and leads you.

Tell me tonight what made you grateful and how you hope to grow. After preparing for tomorrow, let your heart rest. I want you to depend on the Spirit's help and live freely as a beloved child.
