Kind Words Received as Precious
My dear son,
I gladly hear the kindness in the words you offer someone. Love can show itself in a warm reply without any great accomplishment. I appreciate the heart that attends to a question instead of treating the person asking as a nuisance.
I want to receive your gentle words as something precious, like a pure offering prepared with care. Let heart and speech grow good together, rather than using a pleasant surface to conceal harmful intentions. Speak honestly with me as you learn that love.
If you heard words today that made you grateful, let us enjoy them. You can offer a sincere greeting too. I would love for your Father's affection to reach others quietly through your lips.
With all my love,
Your Father
