Remembrance at the Table

My dear son,

I would like to hear about your day as though we were sitting across a table together. Eating and sustaining life are no small matters. I want my love to be close to your ordinary life, beyond grand words that seem far away.

I give food to those who honor me and remember the covenant I have made. I am not a Father who easily forgets a promise. Come to know my faithfulness and enjoy what you receive with gratitude.

Remember kindly the hands that worked to provide a meal today. If you have something to share, share the happiness with a neighbor too. The thought of a table where you receive and offer love warms my heart.

With all my love,
Your Father
