A Heart That Asks for Wisdom
My dear son,
If something still seems hard to decide tonight, ask me about it. I will not scold you for saying you do not know. I am your Father, ready to help and willing to share wisdom.
Let us consider what is right with patience. As you listen to advice and carefully check the facts, keep your heart open to me. I value the time you spend learning and growing in understanding.
You need not force every decision to a conclusion tonight. Ask me for wisdom, and give necessary questions thoughtful attention. For now, you may rest in the comfort of knowing that your Father welcomes your questions.
With all my love,
Your Father

A short reflection
James encourages anyone who lacks wisdom to ask God, who gives generously without reproach.
