The Peace You Can Make

As you remember today's conversations, does anything come to mind that you could do for peace? I want to be with you as you choose words that care for a relationship and help it flourish.

Look honestly at the attitudes you can change, and offer an apology when one is needed. You do not have to make another person's heart respond exactly as you wish. Faithfully attend to the part that is yours.

If a conversation is needed, ask for wisdom and prepare thoughtfully. Then leave the rest with me and rest tonight. I am your Father, and I treasure the care you take in pursuing peace.
