Grace Meets You in Weakness

My dear son,

I am beside you even on days when your shortcomings seem clear. You do not have to become stronger before you can depend on me. Come as you are and share this day with me.

My grace does not diminish according to how strong you feel. You can rely on me where your abilities fall short. Christ's power can rest on you in the very places where you cannot manage everything yourself.

Tonight, there is no need to conceal your limits. Asking for help is something your Father treasures hearing. You need not put all your strength on display. Lean on my grace and let your body and heart rest.
