Words That Build Each Other Up
My dear son,
Words that help a person keep going need not be impressive or long. A thank-you for someone's work, or a promise to stand beside someone trying again, can hold a great deal of love.
I want you to live where encouragement is both given and received. You do not always have to be the one offering help. Welcome the care of someone who reaches out to you, and let their kindness be a gift.
If a face comes to mind tonight that makes you grateful, let us rejoice together. You might also think of a kind word for someone you will see tomorrow. I love seeing you strengthen one another's faith.
With all my love,
Your Father
