Remember the Joy of Giving
My dear son,
I hope your life has room for the joy of giving alongside the joy of receiving. When you open your hands to help, your care can add to another person's strength for living. Your Father treasures that love.
Generosity is available even without great possessions. You can offer time, attention, or whatever help you can manage. Begin by listening to the care someone vulnerable needs.
Tonight, tell me about what you would like to share. When you need help yourself, receive it with thanks. Care for yourself as someone who gives and receives love, and finish the day enjoying the gift of living together.
With all my love,
Your Father
