A Quiet Space for Meeting
My dear son,
Alongside your time with other people, I hope you will have quiet time to meet your Father. Set down your roles for a moment and come with your own heart. I look forward to welcoming you there.
As Jesus withdrew from the crowds to pray in a solitary place, you may pause before answering every request. Leave what does not need an immediate response for a while, and tell me your story.
Tonight, speak of something you are thankful for or hoping for. You remain my precious child in moments when nothing is accomplished. Enjoy the quiet of being together, then receive the rest your body and heart need.
