The Promise of Being With You
My dear son,
As you follow my word and learn to love, you have company on the road. May the presence Jesus promised his disciples reach your heart with tenderness today. Rely on your Father's love.
Ask for wisdom to put what you have learned into daily practice. Even if loving others feels unfamiliar, approach them with patience and sincerity. The promise of being with you to the end of the age gives you hope to hold.
Give thanks for love you shared today, and tell me what you still want to learn. You need not spend the whole night checking everyone's response. Gently finish this day within the love that accompanies you.
