Return and Rest Quietly

My dear son,

Come back to me today and let your heart rest awhile. Being busier is not what makes you a good child. I am the Father who values the quiet time you spend trusting and leaning on me.

Tell me what you are depending on as you live. If a direction needs changing, you can turn honestly. Ask for my help and entrust your life to me along with the plans you care about.

Strength can be found in quiet trust. You need not fear pausing tonight. Consider calmly what is yours to do and what you can leave with me, then rest beside your loving Father.
