A Place for Your Heart to Return

My dear son,

Beside me, your heart has a place to return and stay tonight. I want to offer you peace. Even when many things are changing, you can pause and rely on me as your everlasting rock.

Your comfort need not depend on making everything happen your way. While you entrust things to me and wait, you remain my beloved child. If your thoughts scatter, call to me again and share what is on your heart.

I treasure the trust you place in me. Tonight's prayer can be short. With faith that your Father stays beside you, enjoy the quiet of the night and the rest your body needs.
