Call to Me With an Honest Heart
My dear son,
How would you like to greet me today? You may call me Lord or Father. You do not need well-rehearsed words. When your greeting carries your honest heart, I am glad to hear it.
Hold me dear and share yourself truthfully. If you need help or have a deep longing, you do not have to hide it. I am the Father who draws near to children who call to me sincerely.
At the end of this night, tell me one thing you appreciated or quietly make a request. The volume of your voice does not measure your prayer. Stay beside me as I listen tenderly, and rest peacefully.
With all my love,
Your Father
