Let Your Heart Return to Rest
My dear son,
As you finish this day, I want to tell your heart that it may rest now. I am the Father who treats you generously. Pause your movements and let your body and mind settle comfortably.
Think with me about the precious gift of life. Rely on the grace that helps you through tears and stumbling, and cherish the time you have to live. I treasure your life as you walk before me.
You do not have to prepare perfectly for tomorrow to earn rest tonight. Leave with me what passes beyond your hands today. Relax beside your generous Father, and receive the sleep and rest you need.
With all my love,
Your Father
