In the Shelter of the Most High
My dear son,
Come to me as you would come to a comfortable place at the end of the day. You may call me your refuge tonight. Catch your breath in the shelter of the Father who loves you.
Your own strength is not all you have for protection. You can rely on me and ask for help. Perfect certainty and a flawless explanation are not requirements for staying beside me.
Before you sleep, quietly tell me what is in your heart. I hope this time together feels like a place of welcome in your day. Like someone who has found a secure stronghold, settle peacefully beside your Father tonight.
With all my love,
Your Father
