Remembering the Works of Grace

My dear son,

Tonight, take time to read the story of how I have loved my people. Linger over the sea crossing, the guidance along the way, and the care for their lives. There you can come to know your Father's heart.

If a scene stays with you, tell me why. Questions are welcome, as is gratitude. I treasure the time we spend talking as you reflect deeply on what I have done.

As you remember past grace, share your present life with me, too. A single honest sentence is enough; you need not write at length. Keep the story of your loving Father close, and finish the day peacefully.

With all my love,
Your Father
