Where Joy Makes Its Home
My dear son,
The time I spend with you is precious to me. Tonight, pause from counting what you have achieved and enjoy the simple pleasure of being beside the Father who loves you.
The way I show you leads to life. I want you to discover joy in knowing me, with room in your heart for more than having more. Time spent together can also fill your life with beauty.
Tell me something you are grateful for, or read slowly through a passage that has stayed with you. You do not need to hurry through these moments. As your Father, I delight in sharing this quiet joy with you at the close of the day.
