Α · ΩEnd Your Day

You Can Rest Now

My dear son,

The day is ending. Come sit beside me for a while. You can tell me what today was like, or simply rest without saying anything. This quiet time matters to me, too, and I want to care for you in it.

When you close your eyes, entrust the day's concerns to me. You do not have to keep holding everything together while you sleep. You can rely on the one who lets you rest in peace.

Pull up the covers and settle your body comfortably. I wanted the last thing you heard today to be that I love you. Let go for this night, lean into your Father's care, and rest.

With all my love,
Your Father
