Stopping Can Be Wise
My dear son,
As you go about your day, I want you to pay attention to safety. Courage does not always mean pushing through. Recognizing danger and turning away can be a wise way to honor the life you have been given.
You do not need to accept a risk simply because you have already come a long way. You may stop, look for another route, or ask someone knowledgeable for help. I want you to treat your own life with care.
Even on a peaceful morning, look around before setting out. Value your body and the safety of those with you. Ask me for the wisdom to put people's lives ahead of the urge to hurry.
With all my love,
Your Father
