A Heart That Keeps Learning

My dear son,

Here is something I want you to hear this morning: the chance to learn something new is a gift. You do not need to know everything already. Listening to good counsel and receiving it can help you grow wiser over time.

When advice differs from your own thinking, do not close the door immediately. Ask why it is being offered. If there is truth in it, let that truth shape your life. There is no shame in being teachable.

I want you to grow honestly, without pretending you never get anything wrong. I look forward to what you will discover today. Wisdom learned patiently can become a steady support throughout your life.
