The Value of an Honest Portion
My dear son,
A small portion gained rightly is more precious than great wealth gained through injustice. I see more in your day than the amount you earn. Your honesty and respect for another person's share matter to me.
Tell me freely about what you need to live. Seek better opportunities and work faithfully while keeping your integrity. Even when what you own looks modest, the time you have spent living rightly retains its worth.
As you face a choice today, consider both the gain and how it will be obtained. Ask me for wisdom and strength. As a Father who cares for your life, I want you to live this day with an honest and clear conscience.
