Honoring Each Person's Place

My dear son,

I do not delight in people using their strength to seize another person's place. As I establish a widow's boundary, I care about the home and place in life that must be protected for someone vulnerable.

When a decision is yours to make, remember anyone who is absent. A quieter voice does not mean a smaller claim to fairness. I want you to value another person's home, time, and rights.

As you share something today, consider what is fair. Speak about your own needs and ask about the other person's circumstances. Beside you as you learn to respect one another's place, I establish justice and love together.

With all my love,
Your Father

Proverbs 15:25

WEB

25The LORD will uproot the house of the proud, but he will keep the widow’s borders intact.

A short reflection

Proverbs contrasts the Lord's overthrow of the proud person's house with his protection of the widow's boundary.
