Keep Your Curiosity Alive
My dear son,
Treasure the desire to understand something. A wise person keeps seeking what is good to know, with room for more learning. I want your curiosity to grow into a deep and thoughtful understanding of life.
Moving quickly through entertaining words can sometimes carry you past the question you really care about. Explore the subject that holds your attention, and seek trustworthy explanations. There is pleasure in discovering how learning widens your thinking.
Will you begin this morning with me and one question on your heart? You need not learn everything at once. I delight in the time you spend wondering, asking, and understanding. Keep tending that love of learning over the years.
With all my love,
Your Father
