Let Good Learning Be Shared

My dear son,

When you learn something good, enjoy sharing it with someone who needs it. Knowledge that helps people live well together is precious. I want what you learn to reach other people through love.

Knowing something first does not make the other person smaller. Hear what they are wondering, then share an accurate answer suited to their need. You can gladly learn from someone else about what you do not know. Your lives become richer through that exchange.

If you have something good to share today, offer it kindly. Sometimes a short, clear explanation helps most. May humility and kindness stay close to your lips as you pass your knowledge along.

With all my love,
Your Father

A short reflection

Proverbs says the lips of the wise spread knowledge, contrasting them with a foolish heart that does not do so.
