Trusting the Hand That Holds You
My dear son,
Let us walk together along the way that pleases me. My hand is for people who are still learning, too. As you seek to follow my will, I watch your steps and hold you by the hand.
A day of stumbling does not mean your whole journey has ended. Lean on me as you find your footing again. I want your heart to trust that there is a hand holding you.
Today, take the step entrusted to you. Do not let trying to match another person's pace pull your attention from my hand. Let us stay together on happy walking days, too. I enjoy traveling this road beside you.

WEB23A man’s steps are established by the LORD. He delights in his way.
24Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.
A short reflection
The psalmist teaches that the Lord establishes the steps of those whose way pleases him and upholds them by the hand when they stumble.
