Time to Look to Me
My dear son,
Like an eagle spreading its wings and rising, may you find renewed strength as you hope in me. Before measuring how quickly you can move today, consider where the strength you rely on comes from.
Time spent looking to me is not time stolen from your day. Pause to pray, listen to my word, and entrust your heart to me. Whether you are running or walking slowly, you can turn to your Father.
Do not spend your whole day trying to match someone else's pace. Walk steadily along the path given to you. Even while you wait for me and lean on me, I am holding you.
With all my love,
Your Father
Isaiah 40:31
WEB31but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
A short reflection
Isaiah declares that those who wait for the Lord receive renewed strength to keep going without growing weary.
