Choose to Build Each Other Up

My dear son,

If you meet someone who sees things differently today, listen until they have finished. Just as your convictions matter to you, there are things this person cares deeply about. Give yourself time to understand them.

I want you to grow together. You can speak clearly about what you believe is right and still be kind. Sometimes a patient word leaves room for a conversation to continue.

It would bring me joy if someone left a conversation with you feeling encouraged to keep going. May your words become that kind of gift today. Ask me for wisdom as you work toward peace and help another person grow.

With all my love,
Your Father
