Learning What Enough Means

My dear son,

Look gratefully at what you have today. Preparing for genuine needs is worthwhile, but your life does not become more valuable simply because you own more. Your worth is not determined by the size of your possessions.

Alongside plans to obtain something new, leave room to enjoy what you have already received. Conversations and time with people are precious, too. Do not become so occupied with acquiring things that you miss someone you could love.

Bring the desire that continually demands more before your Father. Care well for your belongings and share willingly. Let love guide the choices of your life today, with your possessions serving that purpose.

With all my love,
Your Father
