Strength in Being Together
My dear son,
If you have a chance to join efforts with someone today, treasure it. Working together brings wisdom and joy different from working alone. I want you to enjoy both giving and receiving help with gratitude.
When two people walk together and one falls, the other can offer a hand. You do not have to be the one lifting others every time. When you need help, I hope you will reach out honestly.
Do your share faithfully, and acknowledge each other's efforts. Be generous with thanks and clear about what you need. Your Father delights in seeing you honor one another and share the work of living.
With all my love,
Your Father
Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
WEB9Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
A short reflection
Ecclesiastes describes the benefit of shared work and companionship: when one person falls, another can help them up.
