What Are You Building On?
My dear son,
Tell your Father what you hope to build into your life today. Laying plans carefully, like building a house, is worthwhile. Let my will be part of the foundation as we build together.
Hard work and watchfulness alone cannot make everything secure. Consider what your efforts serve and whom you care for through them. Let love and honesty grow along with the size of what you are building.
Depend on the one who builds the house and guards the city. Bring your effort into partnership with your Father. Attend faithfully to today's small responsibilities, and place the life you are building in my hands.
