Where Wisdom Begins
My dear son,
If you want to live wisely today, begin by honoring your Father's will. Knowing many things is valuable, and so is considering what you actually follow. Learning begins with a heart that takes my word seriously.
Even in familiar work, ask whether you can practice greater honesty. If you know the call to love, show love to someone near you. A teaching becomes more deeply understood when it enters your actions and words.
Welcome the fact that there is more to learn. Ask me, then practice what you discover. Your Father delights to see knowledge mature into wisdom that helps other people.
With all my love,
Your Father
