Receive with an Open Heart

My dear son,

You do not have to prepare an impressive appearance before coming to your Father today. Receive my kingdom and love like a child gladly receiving a gift. Look closely at the heart of Jesus, who welcomes and blesses children.

As Jesus kept the way open for children, welcome those who seem small. Do not dismiss someone's words because they are young or have little power. Offer a place to sit and time to be heard.

Joyfully receiving love is also an expression of faith. You can come sincerely to a Father whose embrace is freely given. Welcome one another today and live within my love.

15Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
16He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

A short reflection

Jesus welcomes and blesses children, teaching that God's kingdom must be received with the openness of a child.
