Prayer Joined to Your Life
My dear son,
You do not need to tuck your daily life out of sight when you talk with me. Come with an honest heart instead of concentrating on a beautiful prayer. I am a Father who delights in the voice of an upright child.
An impressive offering cannot take the place of the way you treat people. I want love to connect your worship with your living. Care for the words you offer me by letting them shape your actions too.
Let us enjoy what deserves thanks today and speak honestly about where you need to turn back. I want to hear your unadorned heart. Come comfortably to the Father who receives your story as precious tonight.
